2 Month Milestone!!

So, I've survived 8 weeks (and I haven't dropped the baby on his head yet! {knock on wood!} ). Marcus had a Dr.'s appointment on June 1st and he weighed in at 8lbs 10ozs. I weighed him a week and a half later....10 lbs. He's got another appointment this wednesday and so, of course, I pulled out the scale this morning.......10.5 lbs.

I guess I don't have to worry if he's getting enough to eat with all that he's spitting/throwing up. Man he throws up a lot. We can't take this little guy even off the change table without a bib on him. Usually our routine is to take him into the nursery, change his diaper, remove his sleeper cuz he's puked all over his bib and it has inevitably ran down his sleeve or something and put him into a clean diaper and sleeper and go back to feeding. Well, seems like he's got other plans. Why change his outfit once when it's more fun to change it twice!!! Lets help momma out by puking all over the new outfit she's just put on before she has a chance to get the bib on!! Oh such fun!!!!! Woot woot!!! Hrm....I've learned to put the bib on first.....then put the sleeper on. Oh, and don't even try to change him AFTER you've fed him completely. Halfway through - mostly okay. After a full feed, you're pressing your luck. :)

Smiles. Gas? Or was that a real smile? I think he's getting the smiling thing down pat now. You can really see his face light up when you play with him. Although there's no giggling yet. Can't wait for that :) Actually, I'm still waiting for full out smiles....the smiles are still a titch shy of being fully developed...but I'm working on it with every tickle :)

As for sleeping, he was sleeping for up to 5 hours.....well. That's officially over. It lasted about 2 weeks and I thought we'd set a pattern. Well, it's been about 2 more weeks now and he's back to 2.5 - 3 hours a night. Ah well. I'll just stay in bed till 9.

Any bets on how much he'll weigh come Wednesday?!!
